Electrical Engineering Degree specialized in Power from the University of Miami in Florida. Active in industry organizations, e.g.: Director of the Electrical Generation Systems Association where he won the Award for Leadership Excellence as Chairman of the International Trade Committee; Chairman of the Industry Applications Society of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers in South Florida, and Vice-Chairman of the Miami Chapter of the Illuminating Engineering Society. Won International Business Leadership Award from the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
Started professional career with Bradley-Whitworth Consulting Engineers in Miami and then had a series of positions with R. B. Grove, Inc. leading to President.
Developed the first Power Purchase Agreement in Latin America financed by the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank without a Government Guarantee, the 110 MW Puerto Quetzal Power Project in Guatemala, to be followed by a series of other Independent Power Producing Projects. Development of the Emerald City USA smart city in Florida.
